CALIFORNIA - Google has been moving around more than 11 million sites owning domain co.cc of their search results pages, on the grounds that these sites is too much spam. As quoted from The Register, Wednesday (06/07/2011), domain co.cc domain is not the official rate of two kinds co.uk, com.au, co.id. Co.cc domains are offered independently by the Korean company (http://co.cc/). Google itself co.cc classify firms as 'freehost'.
Google remove sites having a domain of co.cc because it is considered too much Spam "If we see the current lot in freehost sites containing spam, or of poor quality," said Matt Cutts, the Google Web Spam Team.
"To help protect users, recently we modify the malware-scanning systems at Google," adds Cutts.
According to the latest report from the Anti-Phishing Working Group, approximately 4963 freehosting co.cc host phishing attacks / spam in the middle of the second half of 2010. Make a free domain at co.cc too.
Co.cc claim that they have 11,383,736 and 5,731,278 registered domain user account, making it one of the largest domain in the world, bigger than. Org and. Uk.++--
