SYDNEY - An Australian research institute released a site that allows people to monitor the emissions of greenhouse gases in Earth's southern region.
Australia makes Website for Monitoring of Greenhouse Gases
Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) to develop a site so that people could see for themselves how the increased greenhouse gases due to human activities. Similarly, as quoted by AFP on Monday (6/20/2011).
"The measurements show how the increased concentration of carbon dioxide in Earth's atmosphere, which the majority are caused by burning fossil fuels and deforestation," said by Paul Fraser, a scientist from CSIRO.
Sites that are addressed at www.csiro.au / greenhouse-gases, have an interactive chart that shows the level of carbon dioxide, nitrous oxide and methane.
In addition, chemicals that erode the ozone layer also measured, such as chlorofluorocarbons and halon. The site is updated regularly each month as new diujicobanya samples.
Data from air samples is collected by CSIRO and the Bureau of Meteorology at Cape Grim, Tasmania. As for the northern hemisphere samples were collected and monitored by the Mauna Loa Observatory in Hawaii.
"Graphics that we put on the site allows users to test the evidence of climate change is currently happening," said Fraser.
"This is an important information to decide the steps needed to avoid global greenhouse gases reach dangerous levels.
