Now You Can enjoy Watching 3D Video On YouTube
SINCE the end of last week, Internet users can watch 3D videos on YouTube via HTML5.
However, this feature is limited only to users of Firefox 4 and computer devices that have a NVIDIA graphics card .
According to the blog post of director of product management Chris Bizzard Mozilla platform, YouTube has posted thousands of 3D video, which will encode and play back WebM format.
Here is a list of complete requirements for watching 3D videos through HTML5:
- PC or notebook must be equipped with NVIDIA
- NVIDIA GeForce Release 275 driver
- 3D Monitor Vision Ready, notebooks, projectors or DLP HDTV
- emitter NVIDIA 3D Vision and use the glasses when using a PC monitor or notebook screen.
Above conditions indicate that watching 3D videos on YouTube, can only be watched by a certain segment.
Given the ongoing support and development of HTML5 browsers, may not take long for Chrome, Internet Explorer, Safari and Opera follow-ons.
