Why do asteroids change the color?

CALIFORNIA - Do you know Why asteroids change the color?

Asteroid or space rock to object to the researchers . This space rock is known to change the color to red from time to time due to exposed to cosmic radiation .

Thus, the radiation affects the natural chemicals on the surface of the asteroid and make it red . Most asteroids appear more red hot than just a meteorite that burned when the asteroid passed the planet .

Reported by TGDaily , Wednesday ( 20/11/2013 ) , Richard Binzer , planetary scientist at MIT in 2010, uncovering an explanation of the asteroid that orbits the solar system . The  asteroid  belt formed ( rows ) are exposed to cosmic radiation .

Binzel find that this asteroid comes out of his belt and approached the planet Earth due to the effects of gravity . The gravitational pull of the event is also believed to cause shocks of asteroids that could affect the grain on the surface of the asteroid .

With the shift in the surface section , the granules ' fresh ' beneath the asteroid's surface can be seen . Asteroids are getting closer to the Earth , will disintegrate and fall as meteorites .

Scientists believe that the Earth also has a key role in the process at the surface of the asteroid. However , not only the Earth , now Francesca DeMeo Binzel and his colleagues found that Mars could also affect the color of the surface of the asteroid .

" We do not think Earth is the only prime mover . 's Open our mind that there are other things that happen , " said DeMeo . He is convinced that Mars also cause the asteroid to change color on the surface , which becomes red .
