In the case of new sensors for camera modules, Toshiba is currently seeking partners from the manufacturers of smartphones and tablet computers to be marketed outside of Japan.
As we know that the camera now will be mobile devices such as tablet PCs and smartphones. For that Toshiba will develop new sensors for camera modules embedded in mobile devices besutannya.
And later camera made by Toshiba will be able to accommodate 500 thousand array of tiny lenses. In unit 1 cm, the lens is placed in layers in front of the camera sensor to produce images that are slightly different from each lens setting.
Besides Toshiba rumored to not only make this camera device modules, but also make the software as well. Camera module is scheduled to be commercially available before 2013 ends.
