How to Calculate bandwidth?
It's usually question submitted by blogger when they want to build their blog or website. How to calculate bandwidth of their website?
Bloggers who use paid hosting is generally concerned with bandwidth capacity. This is due to bandwidth affects the performance of the blog. What is the bandwidth? How do I find out how much bandwidth you need each month?
In the context of web size, bandwidth (bandwidth) is the amount of data transferred between the server hosting the blog Why the computer used to open the blog page. Important note, here referring to the pages and pages of blog posts.
Calculation of monthly bandwidth
The amount of bandwidth needed a monthly blog is influenced by the size of the page (U), the number of unique visitors (PU), and the number of pages opened each unique visitor (PV). The equation is as follows:
Monthly Bandwidth = U x PU x PV
Blog page size is expressed in Kilobytes (KB), where 1 KB equal to 1024 bytes.
To calculate monthly bandwidth, I take the example of traffic of a entertainment blog for month ago achieves over 600 thousand page views. The average size of these blog pages are assumed 100 KB. Entertainment blog is visited by 60,000 unique visitors, and each visitor was open 7 pages.
The amount of bandwidth used is:
Monthly Bandwidth = 100 KB x 60 000 x 7 = 42 million KB
If divided by 1024, then 42 million equal to  41,015 KB MB. If this amount is divided again with 1,024, then 41,015 MB equal to 40.05 GB.
As you can see, last month my friend's blog requires a bandwidth of 40 GB. Fortunately hosting that I use a large capacity, so the entertainment blog is not impaired.
Hopefully the above computation bandwidth hosting package helps you determine the purchase or calculate monthly bandwidth you paid blog now.
