TOKYO, - Robot which takes two years in construction, the cherished not cheap. Kogoro appreciate the robot is 1.3 million dollars, for the standard model.
Kogoro claims he has received thousands of questions regarding the purchase of the robot. He also received a lot of order cancellations. However, for him none of this matters.
"I hope no one else can create better than I have done," he said.
"They will be able to create a community of robot that even I myself can not imagine. I hope there is the impact of making this robot," Kogoro hope.
When I was a kid, Kogoro Kurata witnessed many animated films themed robot. Just like other kids, Kogoro also dreamed of controlling a robot like in the animated films. The difference, Kogoro then realizing his dream.
Robot works Kogoro Kurata is a giant animal-shaped weighing four tons, as high as four meters. The robot is equipped with "cockpit" and the control arms that allow the rider to move robotic arms. The robot can move at the speed of 10 km per hour.
"The robots that we see first is always great and there is always the rider. I think of robots as it does not amount to much in the real world," said the 39-year-old artist.
"But this is my dream. I dreamed of driving a robot., And I guess this is part of Japanese culture. I always thought creating a robot is to be done by the Japanese," he said.
The prototype robot is equipped with operating systems that enables remote control and control of the iPhone. The robot is also equipped with a "weapon" that could fire plastic bottles.
