Citing CNet, Android considered most vulnerable to malware with a value of about 63 percent, 20 percent followed by Java ME, Symbian 7 percent, BlackBerry OS 6 percent, and others 4 percent.

Apple IOS considered the most safe from malware attacks because the Apple restrict users to download applications on the App Store. By contrast, Google's Android operating system distributed with an open platform.

It was intended that users can download and upload applications easily. But the risk, the Android Market will be vulnerable to attack. As happened last March, was attacked by malware DroidDream Android. Google forced to get rid of 58 applications that are infected with malware.

McAfee saw a different approach between Apple and Google in combating malware. If Apple is more proactive and focus on the prevention of malware, Google is more open operating system for wanting there are many applications that can be created and downloaded by users.

However, McAfee also warns the users of digital devices to remain vigilant when using the device, especially when connecting mobile devices with a PC which are equally likely infected with malware.

Moreover, not all antivirus vendors are able to recognize the virus or the continued application of new malware created to damage the mobile device or PC system.

McAfee released a survey that showed that Apple IOS considered more secure than Android. However, there is no any mobile device safe from risks, including the malicious application attacks (malware).
