Nintendo released to provide additional joystick controller for 3DS development

CALIFORNIA - Although the plan is doubtful for 3DS development of new devices could save the future of handheld consoles, a number of observers nonetheless considered that this could help a little effort to compete with Nintendo's other consoles. The new device is expected will offer hardware development as well as wider access to the catalog of Nintendo games.

Recently, Nintendo announced its plans to provide additional joystick controller on the device or 3DS. Could this could save the 3DS in the handheld console market?

Not only give additional joystick, Nintendo reportedly even want to develop a device that completely new, which will include additional controls as well as decreased levels of the 3D display. The decision was taken after 3DS complained of by the user can cause headaches, sore eyes, as a passive 3D display technology.

This news was apparently greeted less positively by some observers. Technology news site Cnet, on Monday (8/29/2011), to assess if Nintendo really realize this plan, they would 'betray' loyal consumers who have purchased these devices from the start, both with the old price or new price is cheaper.

Not only that, the Japanese gaming giant is also going to disappoint the developers who have supported devices.

3DS sales in the market is less satisfactory. The price was considered too expensive (USD250, before eventually revealed to be USD170), to the effect of 3D display that raises concerns about the health of users.

GameSpot UK implies that the addition of the joystick will make 3DS more competitive with other platforms such as Sony's latest console, PS Vita. But if Nintendo wants to create a console with a lower platform in order to seek a cheaper price, would not want to display quality and performance, which was the key consumer gaming experience, must be sacrificed.
