Indonesian Internet Development's Praised by Eric Schmidt
Internet giant from Mountain View seems to be interested to openan office in Indonesia as its efforts to expand business. Schmidtassess Indonesia has a significant position for Google because of the high Internet penetration in the country.
According to Schmidt, it can not be separated from the economicdevelopment of Indonesia which is also satisfactory. "At presentIndonesia's economic growth reached 7 or 8 percent annually. So you see the rapid development efforts on small and medium enterprises, besides the Internet also becomes a significant thing,"he said.
"When you look at other countries that have reached this point, theyhave a very broad options for the Internet," added Schmidt again.
"Indonesia already has a community of Facebook and Twitter are great. Google users are also very much here. That's pretty amazing," he concluded.
