the detection of fake sites can be accomplished

The U.S. computer scientists say they have developed a prototype system that can detect fake sites based on online fraud that already exists.

Scientists also say that the detection of fake sites is very important, because the majority of users are still not able to detect internet security, which ultimately results in great losses.

"The existence of fake sites on the Internet raises a big concern, since users are still put so much faith in there," said Ahmed Abbasi, Professor of Information Technology from the University of Virginia.

"The problems we face today is quite large. Fake sites harm the industry billions of dollars. This is what we must prevent," said Abbasi.

University of Arizona research team successfully classifies online fraud based on several characteristics, such as the length of URLs, number of links, literary type, and others.
