Samsung sues Apple for prohibition of selling Apple's Products in US

SEOUL - The biggest electronics company in South Korea, Samsung is asking the International Trade Commission (ITC) United States (U.S.) to ban the troubled Apple products into the United States. This is related to a patent war between Samsung with Apple. Samsung sues Apple for prohibition of selling Apple's Products in US

"U.S. International Trade Commission has been urged to stop shipping a variety of popular products such as Apple, iPod, iPhone and iPad into the U.S. market which is actually Apple's own home country," said the Samsung, as quoted by the Straits Times on Thursday (06/30/2011 ).

This happens, because Apple is accused of violating five patents related to wireless communication standard and mobile device user interface.

"The complaint requests relief in the form of banning orders a few Apple products that infringe U.S. patents to get into," added the Samsung in a statement.

"Samsung will continue to actively defend our intellectual property to serve our customers and to ensure our continued innovation and leadership in the mobile communications business," he said.

As we know, that last June 25 that Apple just sued Samsung in South Korea which is Samsung's home country. It seems that Samsung's effort this time by asking for a ban on Apple products have a problem with patents is not to get into the U.S. is an effort on the part of Samsung's counterattack against Apple, which also attacked the country of origin.
