Follow the button to function so that the reader can follow the news topics of their choice in a section titled 'My Stories'.
While sharing button allows the reader to add the accounts of Facebook, Twitter, Google Buzz, and Digg them to the page profile, so that they can share or post news Mashable to various accounts earlier in a single click.
The page profile makes it easy to know each other Mashable community to be connected to each other according to their respective interests.
Lastly, the badge is one way for Mashable readers are tempted to be more active to get connected with other members, comments, or follow a particular topic.
