Microsoft, Nokia, and others submit Protes Apple about App Store

App Store app store get colective protests in continental Europe. Microsoft along with HTC, Nokia and Sony Ericsson assess Apple's copyright on the App Store is invalid. They submit a complaint to the relevant Community Trade Mark.

Four companies joined Amazon previously earlier filling a similar complaint in Europe in mid-April. They wanted to Apple's copyright on the App Store is unauthorized.

"Action HTC, Nokia, Sony Ericsson and Microsoft, like Amazon, showed resistance to the exclusivity of Apple's claims. App store as well as book store or toy store is a generic term that should be available to all parties to use," said a spokesman for Microsoft.

Similar complaints have been filed before Microsoft in the United States. The reason was pretty much the same, Microsoft is working to block the patent Apple App Store because this name was considered too general.
